Sew Ready Chicago is a hands-on learning environment where you can learn to sew at your own pace! Do you want to learn how to work your sewing machine and understand all of its parts? Do you prefer one-on-one coaching with a sewing expert? Stuck on a confusing set of instructions? Want some guidance through the basics of sewing?

Sewing 101 is required, unless you have strong knowledge of using a sewing machine.

Lessons are tailored to your choice of project & skill level.

Enroll in our in person sewing classes, to boost your individual design style and get the help you need! If you're looking for assistance with a specific project or just need proper hands on instruction, we are here to motivate, support and inspire you!

Sewing Supplies are required for this class. You may rent a sewing machine, however; we highly recommend bringing your own sewing machine if you have one. Please ensure that your machine is clean and in good working condition.

Don’t forget to bring the sewing machine manual, sewing foot pedal, extra bobbins, sewing machine oil, sewing machine needles (in a variety of sizes from 9 to 16).
